Paul Stephen Hill

JANUARY 2, 1949 – JULY 28, 2022

With great sadness we share that Paul S. Hill Sr. has passed, with dignity, at the age of 73. He leaves behind his loving wife of 47 years, his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He lived a good and fulfilling life.

Those who knew him, knew he was a kind and honorable man. Paul proudly served in the Air Force and retired after 20 years service. He was able to see the world and experience many different cultures while he served.

After retiring, he continued to work, but also focused his time on his family, his bountiful garden, and fixing things around the house. He was always a hard-worker and a great handyman. Paul was always there to lend a hand whenever a friend or neighbor needed. His family nick-named him ‘Poppy Fix-it.’

We are so blessed the Lord had shared him with us. He was loved by so many wonderful friends and family, and he will be truly missed.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, Aug 27, 2022 at 10:00 am at United Church, 820 E Williams Street, Apex, North Carolina 27502.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to help cover his final expenses. Please see a family member for details.

God saw you were getting tired, and a cure was not to be.
So he put His arm around you and whispered “Come to Me.”
With tearful eyes we watched you and saw you pass away.
Although we loved you dearly, we could not make you stay.
A golden heart stopped beating, hardworking hands now rest.
God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best.
